Hello peeps! Today I have come up with the review of Amway be bright face wash.
Why I decided to give this product a try:
Well, though it is not specified for any particular skin type and neither targeted towards a specific issue like acne etc. But still this product is 100% soap free formulation and thus I thought it would be a good idea to maintain my skin squeaky clean without the use of any harsh surfactant based face wash.
The Amway be bright face wash comes in a big white tube with a flip cap..The face wash is transparent and thick in consistency and the difficult part is that it doesn’t spread evenly on my palms or on my face while rubbing with water.
Price: It’s MRP is 324 INR for 100 ml… being a distributor of Amway I got it at a lesser price..
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture
Skin type: any skin type because not one type is mentioned in particular.
- What it claims:
- Usage directions:
- Ingredients List:
These three things are mentioned on the packaging itself and here’s a photo of the same.
My take on this product:
After first wash: The very first disappointment why it doesn’t spread easily on my palms and face on rubbing with water! I kept on massaging it in circles on my face with water and some how managed to spread the little lumps of the product. It didn’t lather at all (my skin type is oily , acne-prone though) and next adding to my disappointment I kept on washing my face off with water but couldn’t get rid of the slippery feel even after many rinses. Good thing is it didn’t overdry my skin.
After several washes: well,in short,it didn’t turn out to be suitable for my skin…my breakouts started increasing with regular use which is might be because this face wash never cleaned my skin well enough and these increasing breakouts again reduced to a noticeable extent after I stopped using it.
Give it a thumbs up ? for:
- 100% soap free
- Doesn’t overdry skin
- Great smell
- Contains vitamin a and vitamin e
Give it a thumbs down ? for:
- Doesn’t spread evenly
- Doesn’t lather at all
- Doesn’t give that squeaky clean feel
- Slippery feel remains even after proper rinsing
- Caused me increase in breakouts
- Contains parabens
My overall opinion on this product:
A big no…. only people who lack moisture in their skin but doesn’t face the problem of regular acne or any kind of breakouts can give it a try.
How much would I rate it out of 10:
I would rate it 3 out of 10..
